Nearly 500 citizens filled the gymnasium of Government Street Baptist Church on March 30 to take part in Map for Mobile’s kick-off workshop. The Focus on the Future workshop introduced participants to the comprehensive plan process and generated ideas from the public on how to improve the city and its long-term growth without sacrificing its unique assets.
Participants worked in small groups on two activities: 1) Brainstorming Ideas for the Future; and 2) Mapping Strong and Weak Places.
