Since 2019, the Broad Street Revitalization Project has invested more than $21 million into the roadways, infrastructure and amenities along Beauregard, Broad and Canal streets. Mobile, Ala. – Beginning next week, Broad Street will be closed from Government Street to the roundabout at the intersection of Canal Street so crews can begin replacing underground utilities and adding new curbs, ramps, and drainage features to the area. This section of Broad Street will close at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, April 25, and will remain closed for several months as the work in this area continues.
