There is a need to have a FAMILY ORIENTED VENUE. THERE IS NO THEME PARK WITHIN THE MOBILE AREA. THE WATER FRONT NEED TO BE DEVELOPED WITH CAFES TO FED OFF OF THE MARITIME FACILITY. THERE IS A NEED TO HAVE A OPEN MARKET PLACE SIMILAR TO THE ONE IN CHARLESTON, AND HAVE AFRICATOWN AS ONE OF IT’S PRIMARY THEMES TO TIE INTO THE AFRICAN TRAIL, WHICH ALSO COULD TIE INTO THE EXHIBIT PRESENTLY IN THE MUSUEM DOWNTOWN. WE ALSO NEED A VENUE TO SALE OUR SEAFOOD (BOTH COOKED AND RAW). With number of SPORTS FIGURES, INVENTORS, HISTORICAL CHURCHES, CIVIL WARS ACTIVITIES,
MARDI GRAS, etc. Gives our City more to work with that that of most cites our age.
We need way more foot traffic downtown. Lots of ways to do it. Sell the Hank and build a stadium downtown on the river. Move some USA graduate schools downtown. Etc., etc.
What a great idea. I Love Mobile.
I AGREE THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE FAMILY ORIENTED ACTIVITIES IN MOBILE. A THEME PARK WOULD BE GREAT!
Will try to make it
We need more wheelchair friendly places downtown. The sidewalks are horrible. I know I am not the only person in a wheelchair that wants to go downtown and enjoy things.
