Construction on the Three Mile Creek Watershed Restoration project will begin in early 2023. Phase 1, which includes bank stabilization from University Blvd to Museum Drive, will begin in February. The contractor for this phase is James H. Adams & Son Construction. Phase 2 is anticipated to begin in May and Phase 3 is anticipated to begin in August. These phases may be contracted separately.

Map for Mobile is more than a broad vision. It is also intended to serve as a tool for progress. The Action Plan contains a list of projects, programs, initiatives or steps that the City should focus on to support the goals of Map for Mobile. Our Progress Five years since Map for Mobile was adopted, the City has been successful both in implementing dozens of specific recommendations of the plan, but more importantly, in affecting positive change in each of the goal areas.
