UDC Adoption Next Steps

Last week, the Mobile City Planning Commission held its first public hearing to hear public comment on the draft Unified Development Code (UDC). Thank you to everyone who provided written comments or spoke at the hearing. Watch the recorded February 25th hearing.  The Commission will convene on Monday, March 8 at 2pm for a "business meeting" to discuss feedback and prepare for a second hearing. Department of Treasury issues Notice of Award for RESTORE funding for the next phase of the Greenway Trail

The City of Mobile has received the Notice of Award for RESTORE funding from the US Department of Treasury to move forward with design and construction on the next phases of the Three Mile Creek Greenway Trail.  The long-awaited Notice of Award allows the Program and Project Management Department to proceed with steps necessary for construction on the next segment and begin construction drawings for two additional phases that will extend the current trail to a total length of approximately three miles.
