Draft Toulminville Neighborhood Plan

The Toulminville Neighborhood Plan will be presented to the City Planning Commission at an upcoming meeting. Meanwhile, several actions in the plan are already underway, including the formation of a neighborhood planning group. The Planning Commission’s public hearing is scheduled for October 19, 2023, at 2 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room of Government Plaza, located at 205 Government Street.  Comments regarding the proposed Toulminville Neighborhood Plan can be sent to planning@cityofmobile.org .

June 27th Implementation Workshop Recap

On June 27, Councilman Cory Penn convened a workshop to begin implementing the Toulminville Neighborhood Plan. Back in February, many community members came to a previous Toulminville neighborhood planning event with the hope of turning ideas into action. Dozens of people said they would be willing to participate in implementing some of these plans for the community. The June workshop was a chance to start! The purpose of the workshop was to share specific actions in the plan and get commitment from residents to volunteer to help with the actions.
